Making Your Own Keyboard

There are hundreds if different keyboards that are already premade and they offer an infinite amount of different features, layouts, switches, build qualities, connectors, sizes, and build materials. So why would you want to make your own? I wanted to design my own keyboard out of pure curiosity. I made it into a project/goal of mine to understand the different components, wiring, and software needed in order to have a 100% customized keyboard that was perfect for me.

Sometimes the perfect layout just isn't available or in your budget or you may want to learn how to design a keyboard that is perfect for your needs. Whatever the reason is, here is a tutorial on how to make your own keyboard.
