What is a grab bag? It's 5lbs of Signature Plastic's production over-runs, production rejects, and old or excessive stock parts. They cost $65 including shipping and consistently sell out in less than 2 minutes. They will have a random assortment of DSA, SA, G20, and DCS and a few other non cherry compatible keycaps. Is it worth the $65 dollars?

I have gotten into the past 4 grab bags, and it really depends on what your expectations are. Are you going to get a full set of a sought after keyset? Probably not. Are you going to get a complete set to fill your keyboard? Fairly possible, but you may have to do a few trades. So why would one want to get a grab bag?

1) There are a lot of interesting keys you can find.

2) It's a great way to learn the different profiles on a limited budget.

3) You can usually break even if you sell keys you don't need.

4) Trading them on mechmarket is a fun way to get caps you need and interact with others.

5) It's fun sorting them and making vomit keysets.

6) They really come in handy when you have keyboards with non standard layouts.
